Continues the approach devised by V.E. Frankl, the creator of the Third Viennese School of Psychotherapy: Logotherapy and Existential Analysis. A personal friend of V.E. Frankl and co-founder of this approach.
Doctor honoris causa at the University Trnavskiego (Slovakia) in 2001 and the winner of the Grand Award of the Viktor-Frankl-Fonds of the City of Vienna in 2000 for the overall development of Logotherapy.
His main areas of research are: Noo-psychosomatics, the psychology of values, a sense of meaning in life, the treatment of neuroses and the question of existential issues.
